Please join us for a once-in-a while mother tongue lecture for North American Chinese autism families on Mothers Day. We will feature well-esteemed doctors practicing in the United States to introduce difficult and complex medical topics. The word "treatment" has led countless families into spending money on medical treatment, but the result is nothing. Therefore, the cause is unknown, there is no medicine to cure it, and it is carried for life. However, early and continuous intervention can improve the quality of life of autistic people. In spite of this, why do we still "take the risk" to invite doctors to talk? We firmly believe that the initial breakthroughs in the cause and treatment of autism need neuroscientists and doctors on the front line. Thus, we need to uncover new discoveries and explorations from a medical perspective. Although there is currently no official cure for autism, many comorbidities and complications can be well addressed through medicine, such as epilepsy, ADHD, sleep disorders, etc. I hope that our families, especially mothers, will benefit and be inspired from it.
